YAW WAVES, born Emmanuel Arhin, is an emerging Ghanaian independent artist based in Accra, originally from Koforidua. He works as a singer, songwriter, rapper and performer, drawing on Afrobeats, Afrosounds, Afropop and rap influences.
He is associated with the University of Professional Studies, Accra, where he is listed as pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and with Oti Boateng Senior High School (OBOSS), where his early performance career took shape.
His catalogue includes the solo singles "442" (2024), "I Told You" (2023) and "Booty BomBom", alongside collaborations such as "Hustle (Remix)" with Pinky Pecks and "Scary Times" with Kofi Aims. His music is distributed across Apple Music, Spotify, Audiomack, Boomplay and SoundCloud.
